“Homeopathy Worked For Me” international initiative

Please have a look at these YouTube testimonials about Homeopathy, tell your friends and help us to raise the profile of Homeopathy.

Homeopathy, and other Complementary Medicines, are being systematically targetted by self-styled ‘skeptics’, some of whom are funded by Big Pharma. In response to this, the “Homeopathy Worked For Me” International Initiative has been set up using YouTube ….

Please have a look at a few of these, pass them on and help Homeopathy defend itself against the ‘Flat-Earther’ reductionist quasi-scientific ‘skeptics’ who are taking great pleasure in ridiculing that which their tiny brains can’t cope with … bless them!

Here’s the link. I will be posting some of my own patients’ mini-films sometime soon.

Thanks very much

Things are hotting up! Homeopathy is standing up for itself!

Exciting times as Homeopathy is becoming more vocal and standing up to the self-appointed ‘Flat-Earthers’ known as the ‘sceptics’ .

You know who they are, the scared people who are constantly attacking what they are unable to comprehend.

Homeopathy works for children, babies animals (and the rest of us!). Homeopathy is a threat to Big Pharma or the PharmacoMafia!

Get over it, guys !  Wake up and smell the Coffea Cruda (that’s a homeopathic joke, btw!)

Go visit these sites for more information:

http://psoric.wordpress.com/ for my friend Vinton’s blog

www.extraordinarymedicine.org a GREAT new site that tells it like it is and

http://www.hmc21.org/ another campaigning site!

PLEASE PASS THIS INFORMATION ON TO EVERYONE WHO VALUES THEIR RIGHT TO MAKE THEIR OWN HEALTHCARE CHOICES

Thanks

Swine Flu – Update – 2 New Sites

Update

I have treated a few cases so far here in Cornwall, and they all seem to respond well and quickly.

Don’t let all the hype fill you with fear and anxiety : instead I recommend the following:

  • Avoid junk food (sugar, especially)
  • Stimulants (coffee and tea – and chocolate) … they will drain your energy
  • Rest adequately
  • Drink plenty of good water
  • Avoid contact with sick people (your GP Surgery! etc)
  • Take some GOOD quality Vits and Minerals (Solgar, Quest and Viridian … they are food-matrix (i.e. they came FROM food, so can be assimilated properly)
  • Plenty of garlic (and parsley)

I received this yesterday from a reputable site (which I hope you will visit and support) :

News from Homeopathy:Medicine for the 21st Century /Homeopathy Worked For Me

SWINEFLU

Over the last months homeopaths all over the world have been busy treating people with suspected or diagnosed swine flu and dispensing prophylactic flu remedies, such as Influenzinum and Oscillococcinum.

Some of our opponents have been “outraged” that we do this, claiming that we are endangering people’s lives. Some have even called us murderers practising witchcraft. Well, here are some facts:

·         To date no death or negative effects have been reported in patients of homeopathy treated for influenza, or having received prophylactic influenza remedies. If anybody can provide us with evidence to the contrary, please contact us with exact details.

·          Last Swine flu outbreak:  In February 1976, an outbreak of swine flu struck Fort Dix Army base in New Jersey, killing a 19-year-old private and infecting hundreds of soldiers. Concerned that the U.S. was on the verge of a devastating epidemic, President Gerald Ford ordered a nationwide vaccination program at a cost of $135 million (some $500 million in today’s money). Within weeks, reports surfaced of people developing Guillain-Barré syndrome, a paralyzing nerve disease that can be caused by the vaccine. By April, more than 30 people had died of the condition. Facing protests, federal officials abruptly cancelled the program on Dec. 16. The epidemic failed to materialize. (Source: Time Online, 27 April 2009; see also Diana B Dutton, Worse Than The Disease (Cambridge, 1988), pp. 127-173)

·         There is good research showing that homeopathic flu remedies are effective:

Homeopathic remedies are commonly used in the treatment of influenza all over the world. Since 1971 there have been 15 published research trials investigating the prevention and the treatment of influenza with homeopathy. Of the eight trials that investigated prevention of flu, half demonstrated a positive beneficial effect from the homeopathic treatment. Of the seven trials that investigated the treatment of influenza with homeopathy, five clearly demonstrated a beneficial effect from the homeopathic treatment; the other two trials produced inconclusive results. Deans, E M., (2004) ‘The trials of homeopathy’

Three of the studies investigating the treatment of influenza were relatively large in the number of participants (487 patients, 300 patients, and 372 patients), and all were multi-centered placebo-controlled and double-blind (two of the three trials were also randomised). Each of these trials demonstrated statistically significant results.

It is generally accepted that the weight of evidence favours the efficacy of homeopathy in the treatment of influenza. Mathie (2003) The research evidence base for homeopathy: a fresh assessment of the literature Homeopathy 92, 84-91

The report has been submitted to Sir Liam Donaldson, Chief Medical Officer of the UK, and to the US Food and Drugs Administration.

Subscribe to their Newsletter if you want some more news re Swine Flu etc.

I have dealt with a few cases that have responded well; it’s no big deal if you keep as fit as possible, avoid the ‘bad stuff’ (sugar, alcohol, caffeine, not enough rest, not enough water etc).

I was alarmed to read that the Tamiflu apparently has the same mercury-based presevative that used to be in the MMR vaccine …. mercury is a neurotoxin!    Could you imagine the uproar if homeopaths put such stuff in their medicines?

Here’s the gist of (some of) what is in their Newsletter:

Annabel Croft: Why I have come to rely on homeopathic medicine

Nice interview with BBC Tennis Commentator Annabel Croft in today’s Daily Telegraph.

Please pass on any other positive stuff that you come across

Enjoy the weather!

To homeopaths, this is ‘encouraging’ in that Science is slowly starting to wake up to the idea that  innoculation is not all that it is cracked up to be.

What with Ducks being so high-profile in the UK Parliamentary Expenses scandal – wait for Duckgate – perhaps I might as well jump on the bandwagon here : Regarding vaccination … If it looks like a duck, it walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck …

They (however) stop short of saying /admitting that perhaps the vaccination was implicated … ho, hum!

(Organic) Food for Thought

From Teresa and Greg Pascoe, Organic Farmers, Cusgarne, Nr Truro, Cornwall, UK

What our politicians should occupy themselves with…. read on

“To make one tonne of nitrogen fertiliser requires one tonne of oil and 108 tonnes of water. As oil prices inevitably rise with economic recovery organic food will start to become cheaper than non-organic.” Peter Melchett, Soil Association policy director, Financial Times, 21 May 2009

“Organic – the benefits “A letter from Soil Association policy director Peter Melchett was published in the Financial Times in response to Michael Skapinker’s comment (18 May).

Peter writes, “Michael Skapinker also repeats a number of now completely discredited criticisms of organic food, for example, that it is no healthier and even that it’s more dangerous than non-organic. The scientific evidence that the opposite is true is now overwhelming, and widely accepted. For example, the Department of Health’s just published report, ‘Sustainable food: a guide for hospitals’, says that organic food ‘has the highest proportions of beneficial minerals, essential amino acids and vitamins… provides environmental benefits, particularly for biodiversity, and… benefits the rural economy… hospitals should specify food from farming systems that minimise harm to the environment, such as certified organic produce’.”

A letter from Mr Yan Swiderski is also published. “Industrial farming methods spread millions of tons of nitrates and pesticides across the planet every year. These chemicals contaminate our water tables, pollute our seas, harm our wildlife and feed massive algal blooms that kill marine life in vast dead zones in areas such as the Gulf of Mexico and the Black Sea. These effects are well documented and not in dispute.” Financial Times (21 May, p.12) Skapinker’s comment …

Onions for Hayfever … or how to make a homeopath smile!

http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/101113/Onions-cure-for-hay-fever

The good old Daily Express has NEARLY got this story right!

Homeopaths have used onion (Allium Cepa) as a homeopathic remedy for AGES as ONE hayfever remedy for people whose symptoms are similar to …  someone who has been peeling onions.

The idea that this is the answer for EVERYONE who has hayfever is … risible!

Reductionistic ‘scientific’ approaches like this are just so 19th Century … when are they going to make the leap into the ‘Energy’ Age?

Ask a quantum physicist and they don’t have the problem with the idea of homeopathy that a ‘Flat-Earther’ who lives in the old mechanistic Newtonian World-view does!

By the way, the BEST time to treat hayfever is in January … set the body up so that it can cope with the hayfever season when it arrives, and you will have a much happier summer! Come back next January and you will probably have a much better summer than the first one … come back again in the following January and we often find that peoples’ hayfever has all but disappeared!

However it is now May and if your hayfever flares,  drink loads of water … and go find a homeopath   … or give me a call!

Homeopathy Awareness week takes place from 14th -21st June 2009 … the focus is on Hayfever!

There are LOADS of remedies for hayfever!  WHY?  because there are loads of different sorts of individuals – people like you – who have many different symptoms when they experience hayfever … so you all need the remedy that is appropriate for you.

One size does NOT fit all … some of you will be delighted with Allium Cepa IF you need it. If not, you will be disappointed having chosen the ‘wrong’ remedy!

Email me or blog me.
